Authors publishing in AJET retain the copyright to their work and agree to the following conditions:

• Copyright remains with the author(s).
• Authors grant AJET the right of first publication, and the published work is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.
• Authors may enter into separate non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the published version of their work, including depositing it in institutional repositories or reproducing it in books or other publications, provided that the original publication in AJET is properly acknowledged.
• Authors are encouraged to make their manuscripts available through institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial platforms before submission, during the review process where appropriate, and after publication, provided that the journal's publication policies are respected.
