Plagiarism Policy

Submitted Manuscripts

AJSSH publishes only original scholarly work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal. Authors are expected to submit manuscripts that comply with the journal's ethical standards and author guidelines.

To verify originality, every submission is screened using plagiarism detection software, including iThenticate, before entering the peer review process. The journal generally accepts manuscripts with a similarity index of 20% or less, although editorial assessment considers the nature and source of the matched content rather than relying solely on the similarity percentage.

Accepted Manuscripts

If plagiarism or substantial unattributed copying is identified after a manuscript has been accepted but before publication, the editorial office will suspend the publication process and inform the corresponding author. Where serious plagiarism is confirmed, the manuscript will be rejected.

If the similarity is limited to a small section that can be corrected through proper citation or revision, the authors may be invited to revise the manuscript. Publication will proceed only after the editorial office confirms that all concerns have been satisfactorily resolved.

Responsibility

Authors bear full responsibility for the originality, authenticity, and legality of the content submitted to AJSSH. They are accountable for obtaining any necessary permissions, providing appropriate citations, and ensuring that their work does not contain plagiarized material, defamatory statements, or unlawful content.

The Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, and publisher are not responsible for plagiarism or copyright violations committed by authors. Any complaints or legal matters arising from such issues remain the responsibility of the author(s).
